UK Bioeconomy

BBSRC has led the definition of the Bioeconomy in an effort to highlight and present the impacts and output of research investments. The Bioeconomy is defined as:
“All economic activity derived from bio-based products and processes which contributes to sustainable and resource-efficient solutions to the challenges we face in food, chemicals, materials, energy production, health and environmental protection.”
BEIS are now requesting evidence to describe the scale and impact of the bioeconomy. BioImagingUK is preparing a response to this CfE. If you'd like to contribute, contact us on the BioImagingUK Mailing list.
